AI Hot ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

What Data We Collect
- If you contact us by email (for example, to ask a question, report an issue, or request a source correction), we receive the email address and content you choose to send.
- We do not operate user accounts, and we do not collect payment or identity information.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to measure how the site is used. Our Plausible instance is hosted at plausible.shipsolo.io.
Plausible does not use cookies, does not use local storage, and does not generate persistent visitor identifiers. It does not track you across websites, devices, or apps, and it does not create advertising profiles.
We use it to count page views and to measure interactions such as clicking an original-source link, saving or sharing a signal, and copying a summary. The events we record are limited to aggregate page views plus the type of interaction, the page it happened on, the story identifier, the source name, and the position of the item in the list. We do not send your email address, your name, or the full text of any story to our analytics service.
Our analytics data is not used for advertising, profiling, or monetization, and it is not shared with advertising networks. You do not need to give consent for us to use this cookie-less analytics.
Legal Basis
We process your data based on: (a) your consent (where you ask us to contact you about something), (b) contract or pre-contractual steps (responding to a request you make to us), and (c) legitimate interests (aggregate, non-identifying analytics, security, and service improvement). Because our analytics is cookie-less and does not build individual profiles, we do not rely on cookies or on tracking consent for it.
Your Rights

Cookies & Local Storage
AI Hot sets no cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies, and no third-party cookies are set by us.
We do store a small number of preferences in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to us:
- Your theme choice (dark or light).
- Your language preference (English or Chinese).
- The signals you choose to save, so they remain available on your own device.
You can clear or remove this data at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Clearing it only resets your preferences and your saved items on your device; it does not affect anything on our side.
Data Retention
Aggregate, non-identifying analytics data is retained in aggregate form and cannot be linked back to you.
Emails you send us are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and to keep a record of any unresolved issue. If you ask us to delete an email, we will do so.
We do not operate accounts, so there is no account data to retain or delete.
Advertising
AI Hot does not currently display third-party advertising.
If we introduce third-party advertising in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before any advertising code is placed on this site. That update will describe which advertising and measurement partners are involved, what categories of data those partners may use, and how to opt out of personalized advertising or ad measurement through the relevant provider's own settings and opt-out pages.
