AI Hot is built on public sources. We summarize AI signals for faster scanning, but every important decision should be checked against the original source.
What counts as a source?
Official
Company blogs, changelogs, docs, release notes, pricing pages, and direct product announcements.
Repo
GitHub/GitLab releases, issues, pull requests, project docs, and public code artifacts.
Research
arXiv papers, lab posts, benchmark reports, evaluation writeups, and reproducible research notes.
Media
Reputable tech reporting and established expert blogs with enough detail to verify the source trail.
Community
Hacker News, Reddit, forums, and public discussions when they point to a concrete AI signal.
Source confidence labels
Source confidence is about traceability. A high-confidence source can still describe a tool, model, or claim that is not right for your workflow.
High
Direct official, repo, docs, paper, or other primary source. High confidence means traceable source quality, not product quality.
Medium
Reputable reporting or established first-hand analysis with enough detail to verify the claim elsewhere.
Low
Early, second-hand, thinly sourced, or community-only signals. Useful for awareness, not for decisions without self-check.
What makes the cut
A signal can be included when it is public, source-linked, AI-related, and relevant to a builder, operator, AI engineer, or product team.
- • It affects stack choices, workflows, model behavior, cost, security, reliability, or market movement.
- • It points toward a practical next action: try, watch, compare, save, or skip.
- • It has enough public context for readers to verify the original.
What we usually exclude
We usually exclude general tech news, crypto, energy, politics, entertainment, non-AI consumer stories, thin affiliate pages, private rumors, and items without a source link.
Borderline stories may appear only when they affect AI builders or operators.

Submissions do not guarantee inclusion
A submitted source is reviewed against the same public-source, builder-relevance, and confidence rules as monitored feeds.
No hidden paid ranking
Paid placement, sponsorship, or affiliate relationships — if introduced later — must be labeled and must not change confidence or action labels.
